Winter storm and Yume Nikki

[ spoiler warning for YUME NIKKI ]
I started playing the game "yume nikki" yesterday, and got the last effect today. my first few hours were unaided, but then I accidentally spoiled the "secret ending" by scrolling through steam community posts, so I used the fandom.com wiki to fast track finding all the effects. I didn't spend much time looking for events to trigger, because I didn't really have the patience. I spent a while trying to get the spaceship to crash, but after a few attempts I just gave up and went ahead and triggered the extremely depressing ending. The entire game was just... so heavily lonely. Super sad atmosphere. Why did Kikiyama feel the need to do this shit? I'm not trying to discredit it or anything, I just found it sad. On a happier note, my favorite part was the aztec rave monkey event. Absolutely bangin' track. I wish I was as multitalented as this guy Kikiyama, who can do both digital art and music production. Kind of like Tobyfox..
I still haven't played Any Tobyfox games though. I should probably play them. For every second that passes without me having experienced them, ten million references and memes pass me by, and they all turn, look me in the face, and say: "You disgust me." Or something like that.
My winter break starts tommorow. Of course, I didn't go to school today, on account of the roads being covered in snow and all. And now I'm out of things to recount here. I often feel like I should have more things to talk about, but when I sit down and start writing, it's then that I realize the true weakness of my memory. I'd never really thought about until recently, but I am terrible at remembering things. I easily forget the plots of the books I read, the games I play, shows I watch, etc. Actually it's much less so with video games. The reason this started eating away at me is because of this very thing - this blog. I want to journal about my daily life here, but the daily happenings of my existance are scrubbed from my mind the second they stop being relevant to me in the moment, which is both infuriating and concerning. I'm sure I'm not alone in this anxiety of forgetting everything, and I'm sure it's not as bad as I'm making it out to be, but still. It's there, and it troubles me.
Hey I just remembered something I did five minutes ago!!!!!11111!1 I realized that a bunch of my mechanical pencils had been missing since yesterday, and so I walked outside to the car and checked the seat, and lo and behold there they were. This is the problem with keeping pencils loose in your pockets - they are extremely good at falling out when you sit in car seats. I feel pretty lucky though, because I haven't lost a single pen or pencil in months - it might actually be over a year at this point.
Holy crap the snow plow just drove past my house and at first, out of the corner of my eye, the reflections of all its lights in my neighbours window made it look like their house was burning down. I think that's my sign to get up from my desk and go take a shower. That makes it sound like I don't take showers regularly; I do but I usually would've done so like an hour ago.
